I feel for ya James! Honestly I do. I usually do not try to get all worked up over the little $hit that happens, but sometimes it comes in bunches and you can get really honked off. Happened to me last week trying to deal with TurboTax. I purchased their software and needed to talk to a customer service rep to get my free state tax software. It took me three days talking to dozens of different people from all over the world to get the problem resolved. I was sooooo pi$$ed off I probably would have choaked one of them a$$holes if they were close by. Things finally did get worked out, and life is good again. My poor wife had to listen to me bitching like a school girl for a few days, but she is a saint, and it rolled off her back. Hang in there bud. The bike will be fine. Another bit of advice - From now on, only buy guns you can see and touch before writing the check.
you buy a gun without seeing it? and have it shipped direct to you?
Yes (FFL), and it was not supposed to be just any "gun." It was supposed to be Colt and all that entails. I've seen 1st and 2nd generation SAAs that have been rode hard, hung up wet and still had better fit and finish. Colt ain't what it used to be, as others have pointed out.

Thanks, man. I think part of my problem on this is that my wife too is a saint and she has not said anything. But I personally feel a little "I told you so" coming in even if she's not thinking it. She didn't want me to buy a bike in the first place, 11 year old son, she knows all these dead and wounded bikers, etc. Now I have 18k of dead weight in the garage and another 150 mile trip to town to fix it. The more I think about it, the funnier it is. Venting here has helped. Thanks again.
Checked;
Just as long as everyone knows it wasn't me that said
that. I try to be more respectful. I guess I missed it
in my quick scan of the thread. I'm done.
