part numbers...referenceing...where?
Hello,
Where are you guys finding all of the H/D part numbers for ordering and for cross referenceing to find out what can be swapped with what?
I am in the process of trying to get the part numbers to convert Susie to a Wideglide tank, bobtail fender, and some other stuff. I have tried to find it on the internet, bt have been unsuccessful. Please help!!!!
EXAMPLE: Couple of sets of radical paint kits on e-bay for Wideglides.....I have benn told the tank will work, but is the bobtail fender the same as the bobtail they are offering for my bike as an option? When I switch to a wideglide conversion, will a wideglide front fender wrok?

only thing I can add,, is the instrumentation is diff from your sg than a wg,,,,fuel gauge etc,tank would be alotta work
front fender mounting brkts might be wider than youe sg

The WG has a 21 " front wheel, Yours has a 19. I believe the Wg forks are wider and 2 "longer than yours. I believe the rear fender will bolt on but the tail light/blinkers/ tag mount will have to come with the fender. As Rick said, instrumentation very different. You could probably swap/trade for the WG for close to the same money and not have the head aches.
