The broken wings patch?
The only part that was specific to you was addressing the booze comment and me, basically saying that as annoying as a drunk ranting is... I'm not the one to throw stones, having been there at some point myself. That's all. No disrespect implied or intended.
You wrote that you realize. The rules?
No jap bikes, must be totaled, and in your rule book what must the extent of injury be?
No I don't have stolen valor patch on

edit add: Going back and re-reading, I see that my response wasn't as well written as intended. I quoted Uncle Larry to address the Garry situation but then my comments were directed more at Garry's behavior and directed to Garry, somewhat indirectly, I suppose. My apologies for the confusion.
Explaining the lore behind the patch was a general statement addressing the topic of this thread and hoping to correct the many wrong impressions with the unwritten "rules", as they were explained to me, many times over the course of many years, interacting with various independents, club members and patch holders from the old school. There was a time when walking into a biker bar and sporting a patch that you hadn't earned was deemed as disrespectful and would result in a confrontation. Where that confrontation would lead depended on the people involved but it was rarely just a "simple and polite conversation". Of course, that was back before the Internet and the current "Oppression Olympics" was a thing.
Speaking of Oppression Olympics... I've told you before Rounders, your feelings and opinion has no bearing on reality. The patch tells the story itself. Those aren't Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris, etc. wings, they are Harley Davidson Wings, complete with the bar and shield. They aren't broken bones, they're broken wings. The feeling of freedom, riding a good running Harley is/was often compared to flying through the wind = wings. Broken wings... duh. The patch literally signifies a broken Harley. It's not complicated. You wanna fight about it? Go stick your head up your *** and fight for air, nitwit.
