I always love that one. OH...and I'm not a doctor, dentist or lawyer.
I've owned two softails, 02 Fatboy, and a 08 CVO Springer. Got rid of them both and just bought a 12 Stree Glide. Never rode a dyna for more than a few minutes.
I spent 5300 bucks on my procharger kit and gained roughly 53 hp. Who ever is spending a couple grand to gain 10 hp is getting RIPPED OFF
Besides, I said about 5hp, not exactly 5hp.
Not trying to start any arguement or anything, sorry if it sounds like it through the typing.
Can I ask you something about the prochargers. I'm curious if you can just bolt on or if you have to upgrade your internals. Like I'd still do a stage 1, but I'm curious.

Nope, you don't have to upgrad the internals. Really, you wouldn't even need a stage "1" (Since a stage "1" is a high flow air filter and pipes). You can actually run with stock pipes if you want to. I did have a stage one on my bike before I got the procharger. My engine (internally) was 100% stock. If you wanna run higher boost levels though it should be done. On the "B" engine the counterbalancers' chain tends to want to break once the hp numbers are above about 130. I didn't want to take a chances messing my cases up so I tore everything down this winter.
My bike is currently completely torn down and I have a forged S&S crank in the cases.(plugged and welded by Dragos) I'm hopefully going to be running around 14-16 psi depending on how well the heads flow(heads done by dragos). Hoping for 170-190 at the wheel once everything is finished

Interesting reading. I loved my 90 Heritage softail, but those of you who like the vibes should take a 1990 EVO Softail for a 400 mile day trip. You may discover the vibrations on the Sportys, Dyna and Tourers are not vibrations at all, but just a strong heartbeat. Jump on a 20 year old Softail for true vibrations.

The procharger full assembly would take the place of the air cleaner right?

That procharger looks like an abortion on a Harley, I would've taken the $5300 and bought a used Hyabusa if I really want to add that much torque and HP.

How well has everything down stream held up ? Or have you have to beef & re-invent everything beefier to deal with it all the way back to the axle ?

I think it's neat. You probably see 50 hayabusa's to every turbo'd harley. Plus I'm sure the harley is more comfortable.

I'm with you. Why does every guy that is either too broke or too scared to mod a HD to make it run hard alway pull that "If I wanted a fast bike I'd have gotten a Haybusa" crap?
