I used to own a Shadow but now have a Heritage. It amazes me how every other bike forum ends up with an idiot trashing Harley riders. I recently looked up the Honda Shadow forum site only to once again see the samemorons having the same discussion about how overpriced and how horrible it is to ride a HD. These people seem to have a short di** syndrome where they compare their shortcomings to something obviously better to make them feel good. I have seen bikers from all types of rides-metric, American, European etc. and I have to say theride does not make you a biker, it is the attitude and demeanor of a person that makes you a biker. I have met ****** on both metric and Harley's as well as some hardcore bikers on metrics. Any that is my two cents. Personally I like the power and presence of a HD better than the Shadow I used to own. But hey, the Shadow atleast was put to good use as a trade in for my 97 Heritage Classic.. And to talk about another thread. EVO's rock!!!!![:@][:@][:@]
I have never seen a group of harley riders stand around and discuss why they do not ride rice. However, everytime yo get a group of rice guys talking and mention anything about a harley, they seem to feel compelled to recite a laundry list of reasons as to why they don't want/own one.

I have a ricer question. When you see a group of riders what brand are they usually on/? I mean , you see the crotch rocket guys ride in groups, and Harley guys ride in groups, but where are the metric touring/cruising groups? Is it just me, or where I live (Michigan)? Has anybody else noticed that?

GWRRA...very similar to HOG. Some of these guys have 500,000 miles on their Wings.
I agree it IS little mans syndrom. They seem to think that because a harley costs more mostly that they are overpriced.I bet if they rode one for any length of time they would change thier mind if price was not a factor.EVO's do rock.
