I washed my Softail for the first time today. After blow drying my bike, I decided to try a product that I use to detail my Vette engine. I sprayed it on the engine case and cylinders and the black came out looking like new with a dark satin shine. I've seen some threads about using S100 and Pig Snot, but I had this stuff readily available, so I gave it a try. I wasn't sure if anyone else had tried using this product from Chemical Guys.
Please let us know how the stuff holds up to the heat of the engine. The website saysd its for plastic and rubber...does not say anything about metal areas or heat.

You guys are correct and I understand that it doesn't specifically say it can be used on metal. I have however sprayed it on my car around my engine for hard to reach areas for about 6 years and have not found any sludge or baked on goo. It sprays on and dries to the touch pretty quick, leaving no greasy residue behind. I simply wiped off any overspray on the chrome with a microfiber towel and it left nothing but a nice shine.
Pig Spit also shows a somewhat similar description. I figured it was worth a try.
