My riding buddy put the Harley Chrome Solid Disc Wheels on his '05 EG. They are HD part no. 41274-03 and can be seen at page 756 of the P&A catalog. (Incidentally, none of the wheels HD offers in the catalog are shown using a twin disc, touring bike front end probably for the reason my friend didn't think they were worth the price.) They cost $1,000 each and he was very proud of them. However, when he bought a new Road Glide he said he thought the wheels onthe EGwere not worth the cost since so little of the front wheel was visible with the dual rotors and the rear wheel was invisible with the saddlebags. He rode that EG 12,000 to 15,000 miles per year and had no problems with wind buffeting or any other stability type issues. I thought he might so I asked him and that's what he said.
I have them on my RKC. See below in large photo. I like the look so I ditched the spokes for rivet look polished wheels. I do notice a little morecrosswind on the Hwy but not enough to bother me.

GREAT looking RKC, I too would like to switch to the 9 spokes or solid wheels. I have always loved the solid fatboy wheels.
I have 2 solid disc wheels that I took off my 2004 FatBoy that are for sale if anyone is interested. I'd rather sell them to someone on this forum then put them up on Ebay.
