Default Damn near went down yesterday. Limping around today!

The sun finally broke out around 3 pm yesterday and it was time to ride. I rode the neighborhood streets to the highway and goosed it through 3rd gear. I saw the green light and the cars parked on the side of the road and then I saw the stalled car in front of me. I grabbed a bunch of brake and soon felt my streetglide going down. I let off the brake, came back up and steered around the two young girls in the car. After the initial relief of not going down and going back to see how close I had came I realized that my right leg was hurting. I must have stuck my right leg out when going down and my knee and groin ligaments seem to be protesting. The funny thing is I don't remember doing it but I am sure feeling it today. Kinda thinking that ABS should have been on my option list now.

Could have been a lot worse than some sore muscles. Glad it turned out ok.

Abs might of helped with the braking issue but not the rot-row moment. Glad you recovered the bike and missed the crash. That would have been a bad day. Tell you what my Daddy would say to me ----walk it off, you didn't lose any body parts.

Glad you're ok. Sometimes we forget how dangerous our hobby can be. And how big these bikes are. Good recovery too.

Thanks for sharing and glad it turned out with just a little soreness. If just one other rider stays out of a similar situation by reading this, then to was worth sharing. We can all learn from others issues, and hopefully we all end up better for it
