No, because the heat would be transferred to your hands and lost to the air cooling the outside of the gloves.

Did ya try on the G-3s before ya tried the T-5s? Have the Classic but wanted a pair with the Mircowire and bought the T5s. Really felt bulky, heat was not as good as my old Classics. Sent them back and got the G3s. Love them, not near the bulk, easier to grip the bars. And are nice and warm.
