Please explain how shape is more important than comfort?
The stock seat on 2002 Fatboy was softer to sit on but the Corbin is a more rounded......for lack of better words........cupped shape. I admit that I was surprised that a harder Corbin was much more comfortable on long rides than the soft stock seat. Hope that helps!
I bought my '01 Fat Boy used in '07; it had a HD Sundowner seat. I liked the look but hated the ride.
I bought an Ultimate seat, it took a little while to get used to the look but from day 1, the ride was fantastic! I do a lot of distance and local riding; I have ridden 15 hours on it without any soreness. The seat is over 4 years old now and still comfortable.
The nice part about Ultimate... you can test ride one for a week and return it for a full refund if you don't like it.
I have an Anniversary Ultra Classic. Pretty comfy seat btw
Got 2 F150's. One 2003 Anniversary HD edition in Black & Silver and a 2003 Lightning, which is now my race car.
They have comfy seats too
just wondering lol i know a guy who dresses like a biker talks like hes a bikes wears harley everything drives an f-150 hd edition and has never gone a mile on a bike that drives me insane for some reason guess im just weird that way
I'll have my bike on the 17th and it'll have the Sundowner seat. I have no experience with it so I can't say how it will be for long term comfort. I really wish I could add a backrest to it.
I have liked the Mustang Touring seats. I have more back issues than butt issues and have found the Mustang to be the best. Especially with the backrest. If the Sundowner doesn't fit the bill, I'll have to save up for a Mustang setup. Not cheap, but worth the price. It is cheaper than Corbin however.
