Replacement Zipper for Harley Davidson Jacket

Was wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement zipper for a Harley Davidson Jacket. The zipper kind of zippers but then seperates and goes off track. The teeth maybe be damaged so I don't think a new pull is necessarily the answer. Any suggestions. Either that or I can get a new silver like zipper and put the existing pull. You might check both alterations and shoe repair shops. Sure youll get fixed up at one of them.

I have a zipper that is doing something similar but I thought it was the whole zipper. Does everyone think it just needs the pull replaced? Thanks, Val Lussier surfing4treasure@yahoo.com

I had the same thing, I took mine to a saddle/leather repair shop, the guy replaced with a much heavier duty zipper and added snaps to keep the collar down for a total of about $50.

I just had a new zipper put on my vest. cost me a whopping $30 at the local saddle shop.

I was told when i bought my jacket last year the snaps and zippers had a lifetime warranty....

Iron Butt Springer - for the lifetime warranty, do you know who you contact for that. I purchased this many years ago but the zipper broke rather quickly. I would say it was 15 years ago. Because of that my husband never wore this like new jacket. I paid quite a bit, maybe even $ 550 to $ 750. Don't quite remember the cost. It was at the Harley Davidson store in Kansas City. So it may be warranteed. The lining really needs to be replaced so I was going to get a seamstress to look at that. I just want to get the thing fixed. Thanks everyone for the comments.
