They need to have an open hunting season for them, I don't ride at night or early morning

Sorry for your loss. Deer are one of the main reasons I hate riding at night and I avoid it whenever possible.

especially when it's dark or dusk I always try to keep a four wheel vehicle in front of me.....it at least lessens the chances. Sorry about you friend//

Lost a friend myself that way a few years back. His girlfriend still is with us but wears the scars. These days when I get my hunting license, its personal.

Sorry about your friend. I have a friend in recovery from a deer about 2 weeks ago. Came out of nowhere and RAN INTO HIM. Took him out at about 50 mph. Broke his dot helmet in almost half. He as some head trauma and a few broken bones but will be ok. The bike...not so much....

Sorry for your loss. This is the biggest fear I have while riding - I hit one on a snowmobile once at about 70MPH and have hit a few in cages - it really does not matter the time of day around here....
