I appreciate all the pats on the back. Definitely not enough of that kind of stuff going on these days (people helping other people out of a bind) ... but, I really shared the story because I found it rather humorous, me being in a nice car, in a suit & tie, and the look on the guy's face when I first walked up. Just shows bikers look like all kinds of people, not always like bikers (especially when we're working so we can pay for more bike stuff!!)
I keep a siphon tube in my truck and bike and extra fuel in an MSR backpacking bottle in each as well. Doesn't take up much room and don't need much fuel just to make it to the next station.
I hope if my backups fail then someone like you will help me out.
