Default Warm weather jacket recommendation

I didnt see an apparel subforum so here goes.

Im looking for a riding jacket suitable for Florida summer. Yes, I suppose I could cover my self head to toe in leather but lets say I am willing to trade some protection for some comfort. This will be used for mostly around town where there will be no 70-80mph breeze to keep me from passing out. Suggestions?

That was my first thought too, I only wear a jacket when it's cold out.
They got this ATGATT (All the gear all the time) thing now....Their mantra is "dress for the slide not for the ride. LMAO

Only reason I am starting to wear long sleeves more often is a melanoma I had removed. Actually it is strange it took 63 years to get one. Not taking chances anymore. Yeah, roadrash hurts but riding is supposed to be fun too.

A mesh jeacket will cover you up, give more protection than a t-shirt and yet feels nearly as cool as a t-shirt even at low speeds.

I bought a grey and black mesh. Mostly grey from Harley. Was about 129.00. Give or take. Has the pockets in the back for the cooler packs. Real nice and keeps me cooler in the blazing sun. Sitting at a light it'll start to warm up but as soon as ya go your good. I didn't want an all black one as they'll keep heat a bit more than the grey.

Its more for the fact it keeps me cooler than baking in the sun. If I don't have that on I have a long sleeve light cotton shirt. I used to be the tank top all the time. But its hotter like that.

I have a Tourmaster Flex and really like it. Can be used with the removable shell and liner for colder weather...

I also drive my convertible with the top up all the time, because it's safer if I happen to roll it. But hey, I drive a convertible.

Same here, even went to a lid after all these years just because of that...skin cancer a biatch. Dr Freeze loves me in my old age. I must get hit dozen times twice a year, so far only a few cut out.
