They are offering a trial pack wth 4 different pairs of ear plugs so you can try them out and see what works best for you.
I was a safety rep at our factory 7yrs before I retired,, about any correct fitting ear plug will help save Ur ears if worn..
So even the cheap spongy one's will make a big difference. they don't have to be fancy expensive ones to save Ur ears..
The wife and I both wear them when we ride,, and I have probably 10 different styles and kinds of them..
I do prefer ones that can be washed and reused.
I have the SureFire EarPro EP3 Sonic Defenders Earplugs. These are comfortable and let in enough ambient sound to hear what's going on around you. They block enough noise to save your hearing and have longer rides to not become fatigued. Especially the dreaded wind noise. These also have a removable plug to adjust the level of isolation you want. I chose to leave the plug out to allow the best balance of isolation and allowing for hearing traffic.
The foam ones that you can shape are only a few bucks a dozen at Walmart. I've tried everything and those are the most comfortable, they stay in and they do the job.
I've also tried swimmers ear plugs. I would not recommend them as you can't hear anything.
(Funny how people install really loud pipes, then need to wear ear plugs)

I used to use the foam plugs. Wife always had a hard time getting them set equally so one ear was 'louder' than the other. She wanted a set of custom plugs, so I bit also. For 50 bucks, why not... After looking at her plugs side-by-side, her ear canals are very different. No wonder she had a hard time with the foamies.
For me, I won't go back to the foam plugs. While I still think they did a decent job, they don't compare to the custom plugs.
If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.
I have a cheap walmart pair and they just aren't cutting it. I still get wind noise may have to try the radians or the swimmers putty like someone suggested. Think I'll grab a few cheap foamies here at work though until then.

I see these guys have dropped their price and got more aggressive price wise- I emailed to ask some details and they advised they are so competitive because they had bought in bulk and are passing on the savings - Its the best price anywhere.Just bought another pair for my wife. service was fantastic and without doubt the best plugs I have used. I also use them now for concerts and no more ringing afterwards. You can hear everything except the damaging noises.
10/10 for me to be honest and I suppose if I have the money I would be buying ones moulded and pay $$$$$ but this is defo the best alternative
I use these also, LOVE THEM! I used to use the foam ones but I felt like I was in a hole or in an airplane at 30M feet with my ears plugged up.
The MOTOSAFE earplugs don't make me feel that way. It cuts the annoying wind noise out while still allowing you to hear ambient noise (like your pipes!).
On a 48 facing full wind the best two choices are Wiley X and Oakley Windjackets. Windjackets are SplitJackets with a removable gasket kit. So you could buy SplitJackets with transition lenses and purchase the gasket kit for another $30. I have that and LOVE them! Otherwise Wiley is the best when talking wind.
