time to replace windshield

Time to replace windshield on my RKlooking for opinions on replacements. Need one 2" shorter than stock

buy a new stock one and cut it to fit,
there are several posts here that deal with how to do it.
you know it will fit and it can be the exact size you need

I had an 01 RK that developed a crack. Replaced it with a Memphis Shades. Very satisfied. Stiffer and thicker than OEM. They come in several sizes and tints. http://www.cyborgcycles.com/memphis.htm

Hey Snipit.. what year is your RK? Is that "Real Teal" color? I took a closer look at your bike. It looks like my 01! I sold it to a guy on ebay from N/E Pa.

jc whitney has maier replacement windshields (H-D uses Maier). the short version is under $80. i ran one for several years. now have a Memphis shades with bottom half blue tint. got from an eBay seller for under $100

I second hdjoe's suggestion. I also went with a Memphis Shade tinted replacement shield. You use your original windshield metal work and just replace the plexiglas. The MS shield is thicker and less subject to vibrations than the OEM plexi. I also went with a tinted lower half. My Road King Classic is Sierra Red, so we went with the red tint. I have received many compliments on the look of the entire package. You can get the MS replacements in many different heights and color tints. Price is right too. ........ BC
