Default HP - Torque

Looking through the Craigslist ad at RK saw a sweet looking RK with the following stats.

"The Dyno tested at the rear wheel was 88.6 Horse Power and 101.0 Foot Pounds of Torque."

Just wondering what the stock it and how much of an improvement. How I understand it is HP is how fast you go and Torque is how fast you get there.

Pretty much. Horsepower is speed, torque, drive-ability. A lot depends on where the torque starts in the curve. Those are nice numbers, tho. What engine and what mods were done? There are a lot more people in here that know more than I do.

Just trying to figure out for a RK how much of improvement this is 88 HP for a MC seems like a lot. Torque i'm not sure what numbers are good.

That's probably roughly 20 more TQ and HP than it was factory stock.
