I have a06 Train no sissy bar or luggage rack.Just a 10 inch wide Phantom pad.I am trying to decide between the Kurakyn "Grand Tour Bag and the Ultra Tour Bag.Anybody had experience with either or both? thx I can mount usingbunggies around the turnsignal mounts and the passenger peg mounts.I have done it before but with a different bag.
I also have the Grand Tour bag...It's great amd will hold quite a bit of stuff. I highly recommend it....Just don't leave it in the sun, it will fade really bad.
We use the Kurakyn Grand Tour Bag ... it's nice and it has just been 'upgraded' by Kurakyn ...
[&:] oops-a-daisey ... I have the Kuryakyn Full Dresser Bag, not the Grand Tour ... it's the Full Dresser Bag where they added some minor enhancements ... [&:]
I have the Ultra Tour.On our first trip (we overpacked)it held enough for 2 people for 2 nights. It is a big bag. Even though the luggage rack says 10 pound max, the bag was at least 30 pounds loaded. I can vouch for the strength of the carrying handle. Goes on quick, has 4 zippered and expandable outside pockets for easy access to cell phones, cameras, bungees, etc. It is big enough to hold chaps, jackets, a helmet, boots, groceries. Not sure I would buythis one again, but it is nice for the price.
I've got the Grantour.Great bag.Get a set of cheap throw over saddlebags to hold rain gear and misc crap you may not need, adjust the lumbar support to fit your lower back and roll for seven or eight hundred miles ina day if you want.
Etbiker why would you not buy again after that great review? The real question I have is what bag would be best for my specific limited set up as explained in my original post? thx

I've got an original T-Bag if you're interested to try a sissybar bag for cheap. Got two actually for sale.. one T-bag and one leather bag of a name I can't remember. The leather one packs down pretty tight.. I've used it twice.. one sissybar buckle broke on me but it still works fine on the other two. $100 + shipping and they're both yours. They're not fancy like these new hard-side bags, but they'll hold your stuff.
