I run with the Harley high vis stuff:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US

It is easy to see, and designed for riding. It has protection on the inside of the legs. It won't melt on your pipes. I rode with a guy recently who had to cut his froggies off because of that issue.

Find some Doc Bailey's Origional lether black...That stuff works real good at waterproofing your leather riding gloves.

Just put on your gloves, and put a dab of it in your palm, then work it in like hand cream. let it soak in then buff it with a towel.

Or, just follow the suggestions on the bottle.

That stuff works great!

Hope this helps,

Best wishes....Tim(HT)

I use the Harley Overpass II. It's a bit bulky and not cheap, but it's the best rain suit I've ever had. Great at cutting the wind and cold also.

We have the tourmaster set. I think it's called the sentinel or something like that. Top notch quality and the price reflects that. Makes you want to go riding in the rain just to justify the cost .

I just got the Nelson Rigg Prostorm PS-1000. Haven't used it yet, but it seems fairly well made I guess. Time will tell. It was about sixty bucks.

+1 on the Tour Master rain gear. The nice thing is you can "mix and match" the size of the jacket and rain pants. With HD rain gear, that isn't the case.

Agree. I got the HD overboots as well. No more pouring out a cup of water at the next stop.

Sometimes I think that would be nice.
I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure we had less than 1" of rain all last year.
A 'normal' year is about 3" per year here.
