Hey ya'll,
I usual ride with a full helmet. The shield clear and UV coated. This prevents my transition eyeglasses from darkening. I had heard that wiping the shield with Windex will remove the UV coating. Anyone ever heard of this?

Windex also makes a version without ammonia (which is what fogs plastics.)
I doubt it or any normal cleaner is going to remove any coatings. They'd be pretty useless coatings if they were that easy to remove!
