Yesterday I was in a waiting room at the University of Vermont Hospital waiting for my wife to have a proceedure done. I was wearing a Harley ball cap and just reading a magazine. A gentleman sitting across from me asked me if I was enjoying the riding this summer. We ended up in a discussion about our bikes and the riding we both enjoy in Vermont and northern New York. Another gentleman came in and sat near us. He joined in the conversation. He also was a Harley owner and worked at a nearby dealership. It made the hours pass by quickly and ended up being an entertaining time. I have read a lot about not wearing Harley gear over the years. I was glad I did yesterday as it lead to a lively discussion. You just never know where you will run in to Harley owners.
I love the surprised looks I get from people when they ask if/what I ride (because I'm always wearing a H-D baseball hat) and tell them yes I have a Harley
