Been there everyyear since 04 looking for what everyone does when they go? what a must see for you? is no panty wen still going on? I hear it is not.......I love van knocker canyon one my favorits but last year it was filled with bikes like all the other roads so the local cops turn down speed limit to 35 thru canyon BS if you ask me.........needles,keystone all roads I must ride so lets hear your favorit roads,bars,event,bike show,etc
Full Throttle, Deadwood, Needles Highway, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, etc, etc. I just enjoy the ride out from California and the ride in the Black Hills. I do downtown Sturgis for a few hours one day and then avoid it the rest of the time.
how about the off beat places????what is your "must do" that is not on the "in" list.....here mine......the road that goes behind lake pactola then down a dirt road to jenny lake gorge....just off beat no one goes back there.......nemo rd is must and we try and ride Vanknoker canyon every day if it leaving or coming back to town!!!!kinda sucked last year as VanKnoker is getting very busy now so they drop the speed limit to 35 by wen...BS if you ask me....I remeber when the beginning of the road was gravel and most wont even think of riding 1\2 mile gravel to get to best road around.....wish we could get it back to gravel...lol.....for food if you don't eat at Sanford's in spearfish your missing out.....
This will be my first time going,so for me everything will be a must see and do.
I will be riding down by myself from Manitoba , I'm so looking forward to it.

I suggust that you try Old McDonalds petting farm on 16 just south of Rapid City. And seeing that you have a new SG and want to ride you should go to the junction of 87 and 385. the Prairie Dog Exhibit is wonderful.
