I have a 2007 street bob, I want to change my bars but need to know whats the highest i can go without having to replace the cables? If someone could help me out i would appreciate it. Thanks.
I went with 10" Wild One's mini apes. That is the highest I could use on my road king and still use the stock cables. The wires had to be extended, and the brake line massaged a bit.
The clutch cable had to be rerouted, but I made it work.
All done, I spent $199 for the bars inc ship, and about $5 worth of wire and shrink covering.
Not a bad deal for new bars!
