Does it count if she keeps them in a sealed display case and lets me reminisce about when I was allowed to use them myself ?

If they try it while I'm splitting, either they take me out for good, which will end my problems & begin theirs, or if I survive, I will OWN everything they have.
Lane splitting is only illegal if a cop sees you doing it.

I lane split here in Florida when it's necessary. I more often "Filter" when moving to the front of traffic at a traffic light. Especially when some cagers takes up 2 or more car lengths between bumpers.

3 years ago I had a pick-up driver at the traffic light tell me am riding illegal by splitting a lane in order to filter. I'm ignoring him. He goes on and tells me, "suppose I open my door on you next time, how would you like that"? I turned my head and said, SUPPOSE I BLOW YOUR EFFEN HEAD OFF, HOW WOULD YOU LIKE THAT? Light turned green and I was out of there.

It's near 100 degrees most of the time riding on my hot running HD. I get rainned on, bugs the size of small birds hitting, stinging, or biting me when I ride. I've had stuff thrown at me a few times. It's a whole lot better on my Shark nose now then it was on my Dyna in the past.

I do my best to find roads or time of day to avoid as many cagers as possible.

BTW, I hate driving in a cage except when it's pouring rain.

You and I think a lot alike in this regard. I almost ALWAYS prefer to be on two wheels. It's just faster, especially in rush hour and inner city traffic. Most are pretty good about getting out of the way in Japan and respect the hell out of Harley riders in general, tho I'm not sure of the ratio between those who get out of the way to be respectful and those who get out of the way to protect their paint job, but who cares. I've yet to encounter a cager here, who intentionally tried to run me off the road or kill me.

If one of them decides to be an *** and shift their car to block you from lane-splitting, then you would be the one who cares.

Uh; maybe so their motor won't burn up in 100 degree heat?

Any car drivers that don't like me splitting can lap my rosebud!
