I never looked at it that way. I was just thinking that I couldnt order one from the manufacture now. Heck yeah, that could save me some coin. Arizona doesnt have a helmet law so I would only be getting one for riding in helmet states.

Looks as good or better, fits great and actually passed it's DOT tests. I love mine.

Tony, I read on a few other forums that the Daytona had a problem with lifting at highway speeds. Have you had any issues with that? I don't have a windshield so that worries me.

It does lift a bit. It could be because I prefer the XL for comfort, thus, the fit isn't quite as snug if I had went with a large. I have a Fulmer Bobber V2 that I haven't worn in awhile. Maybe I will compare the two.

I have a licks and daytona helmet. I like how the licks helmet fits. It feels more comfortably than the daytona. However, placing them side by side it seems like they are similar in shell size and shape.
