RE: Jesse James fined for violating EPA Rules in CA
You are probably going to see alot more of this happening. This will affect not only the indy bike builders but the aftermarket suppliers as well. More people out of work in the name of clean air, thank you EPA....................BG
RE: Jesse James fined $275K for violating EPA Rules in CA
Don't even get me started about the C.A.R.B. !!! They are friggin' idiot's!
Here's an example:
Johnny takes his 1980 Toyota pick-up into a state certified test center. They tell him that his vehicle is a "gross polluter" and then tell him how much it would cost to get it back into shape to pass the sniffer test. They then inform him that it is above the maximum cost set forth by C.A.R.B so he just has to pay a small fee to them and he can keep on driving his "gross polluter" and everyone is happy! The CARB certified shop got paid, the state got paid and the air is much cleaner for it.
RE: Jesse James fined $275K for violating EPA Rules in CA
What a crock of crap! There are some big time serious pollution problems out there & bikes have to be on the bottom of the friggin list. They went after Jesse because of his cleb status. The low life freaks in CA. put a stamp of approval on child sex but come down hard on minor pollution. I can't wait till that piece of **** state breaks off and falls into the ocean!
RE: Jesse James fined $275K for violating EPA Rules in CA
Oh this will flame him for along time. I am sure he knew it was coming. I am a big Jesse James fan and all the movies and shows I have seen I always wondered how he could live in Cali. and have open loud pipes on everything. Cali. is one of the strickest states on EPA. I would welcome him to Washington state and he would still be West Coast!
