Default Torque wrenches on sale at Sears

If there are any Craftsman fans out there. Picked up the micro-clicker 3/8" drive in-lbs and 1/2" inch drive ft-lbs torque wrenches for 39.99 each today. I know they're not the top of the line, but they're not bad torque wrenches for the price. Maybe someday Santa will bring me a nice Snap-On digital......

Now Chinese made!!! I'm glad I got my craftsman tq wrenches before they made the switch. I'll buy a cdi if they ever break.

Don't worry, I'm only going to use it on the Chinese made parts of my bike.

Seriously, you're right. It sucks that even Craftsman has outsourced.

I bought the Craftsman 3/8 drive (I think was 10-100 ftlbs), but it would not click on anything less than 40 ft lbs. I took it back and exchanged it for another, but same thing. So, I ponied up and bought the digital 3/8 drive and very happy with this one.

Save your receipt. My 3/8 locked up, too. I stumbled onto my receipt with about 3 weeks left on a year warrenty and got it replaced. If I have more problems I'll pony up on a better one too.

Made in china, shouldn't surprise you in this day and age. Craftsman isn't what it use to be.

I'll keep a close eye on these. I checked them today against a friend's wrench and they were right on. Of course it's day 1, so we'll see. Thanks for the heads up.

Harbor freight has very similar torque wrenches.
The are just as accurate and can be found on sale for 10 or 12 bucks.
