[sm=hia.gif]Got cuttoff twice yesterday on California 101. First time was 2 women in a Mercedes just chatting away. When they finally heard me they at least looked remorseful.
Second time was some guy in a Mitsubishi. I pulled up to his passenger side after I honked, but he wouldn't look at me. After a quarter mile I just shook my head and moved on.
Stupid obliviots. I still say the best way to get them driving better is to remove all the safety stuff added in the last couple decades. When a 50 mph accident can kill the idiot causing them maybe they'll finally pay attention.
Barring that, there should be revocable offenses for cell usage, red-light running, and right-of-way violations. [:@]
I ahve learned to take it in stride after many years. Yes it succks, but if you are going to ride a bike, it is a fact of life. Get used to it. I have found that going to show them they almost killed me after the fact is useless. Seeking an apology, or a wave saying I'm sorry doesn't cut it in my book...Sorry to hear that happened, but if you live in So Cal, get used to it.
