Gamer Commercials in S.O.A.??
I don't get it? Why are there Gamer commercials sponsoring Sons of Anarchy? There is even a beer commercial that show Gamers enjoying their vidiot games with a beer. Does S.O.A. really pull in this demographic? To hear the young bucks tell it, only old fat guys, (hey, I resemble that remark,) are "bikers" and like Harleys.

Yes, SoA pulls that demographic plus others. The reason there are so many video game commercials has a lot to do with marketing and the time of year (coming into Christmas). You'll notice games releases and more and more commercials for those games as we come into the holidays.

All told, I probably spend more time playing Battlefield 3 than I spend on my bikes. I love SOA. I'm an old fart. I didn't know I had to be young to be a gamer. I'll have to rethink my life situation. Hmmmm. OK, I've thought about it. **** it, I'm not going to change.

Is it just me or is it a coincidence that not long after Harley commercials aired on SOA. The core clubs bikes got shot up and replaced with street glides?

I got biker friends in their 50's who are into the gaming thing. I've just never gotten it.
Those same guys were playing frogger and pacman in the early 80's. They love SOA too.

In a few days the calendar will tell me I've just turned 75. Although the bike is probably asleep for the winter I still drive my 370Z and in about an hour I'll be parked in front of my big screen playing the new Assassin's Creed 3 game on my PS3. I also watch SOA every Tuesday night.

I have a friend that rides a Honda Spirit, plays guitar in a hardcore band, and plays video games that loves the show.
