If you're guard or reserve, find a deployment opportunity and buy through the exchange. The discount's not that big, but you can also make the money to pay for it.
Turns out their special purchase plan is 3% off MSRP. They said that's the same discount that's offered through AAFES.
3% is not much of a discount at all. Being in Alaska seems it would limit your options for shopping around different dealers. Good luck. Hope you get what you want.
