Default Battery tender

This is probably a stupid question but I am new to bikes that have batteries (in the old days it was all sporties with magnetos) I guess that I SHOULD have a battery tender for my wheel while it rides out the weather here in Jersey. What type would you guys recommend.

I purchased a battery tender plus from a web site advertised on this forum - motorcycle batteries USA. a few months ago. No shipping or tax.Came a few days after ordering it on line. Unfortunately I can't tell you how good it is as the weather has permitted me to ride up until a week or so ago. The reviews by a few on line magazines were very positive. it think it was around $50. It's a fairly popular brand so you shouldn't have a problem finding info on it

Best way to keep a battery new & fully charged. Be sure it's a "tender" and not a on all the time charger. Those will fry your battery
