I found that all them cheap petcocks are just pure junk and I need a petcock pingals run 100$ but I see arlen Ness ones are 30$ I tried his stuff in the past and it seemed to be great so any feed back on his petcocks?
Over the years I have used Nesses products. The grips I have allways had to hone the chrome flash out to get the throttle side to not seize up.I wouldnt complain about the quality or longevity of the products and he has some cool stuff. But it seems more than normal you have to chase chrome out of threads or slightly machine the pieces for proper function.I actually bought a ness and sent it back after pingel rushed my order for me .They would probably work and you could buy 3 for the price of one pingle but my vote still stays with pingle
I had a Ness petcock not quite a year before it locked up and if not for my little pair of pliers would have left me stranded. I replaced it with a Golan and have lived happily ever after. Pingel is also a good choice.
Pingel. Just installed mine a month ago after fighting with leaking and **** poor cheap replacements. Could have paid for 2 pingels when all is said and done and could have saved hours of f'ing with gas issues.
You have a chance to do it right ... Pingel.
The chinese knock offs are sold under all sorts of names including Drag Specialties. I spent $80 on two different styles only to have the same rubber seals gum up and crap out in a week's time.
