If the network ever does another build-off like this last one,I won't be tuning in.OK maybe I will but jesus christ on a stick that was horrible.
I was channel surfing the whole time, but the best was at the end when JJ walked back off the stage but (I'm assuming here) a stage hand directed him to go back by his bike.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in the Green Room afterwards.
That show sucked. Where did they get that moron of a host? That guy seriously sucked ***. I don't even know who won because I fell asleep. But it doesn't matter.
The Garage Monkey guys had the real deal. Built on time and ridden to the event. A genuine Harley Davidson chop.......a salvaged piece of history. Not my favorite choice of color, but I'd still pick it to ride over all the others.
PJD had a great looking bike. A real..............museum piece. I really liked the styling, but it's like fifteen feet long and half of that as wide. Not very practical for serious riding.
Jesse is third. I'm sure he built a great bike. The guy is a master fabricator but his bike is not my style so I'm not really crazy about it or his overly arrogant attitude.
The OCC bike was a shop experiment for sure. "Let's use all our fancy expensive computer controlled machines to build a whole bike." Yeah, there's a reason they don't use girder style front ends anymore. And if that's not a mono shock, what is it? A mono strut?
Jj is a douche. Too much bitching about others and patting himself on the back from someone who "does it all".
If he would quit complaining and talking about how cool he is, he may have met the deadline...that the producers changed for him upon his request.
Had to laugh when Vinnie said JJ was out in his backyard mining iron ore to make the metal for his build.
The show format was bad, the host was definitely worse. The pranks were pathetic and really the overall lack of respect the builders had for each other was really scripted by the producers. Jesse James is unbearable: He always looks like he's about to cry with his eyes all watery. His bike was 6 weeks late! 6 weeks! Perhaps he did offer to quit but the producers insisted that he show his uber-creation. I never actually saw the bike being started so who knows if it even runs? The Gas Monkey boys' bike was tiny. Anyone bigger than Aaron would look silly riding that hot pink mini chop. Anyone with some tools can chop a Harley and make into a cool, rideable build because it already was rideable straight from the factory. Finally Paul Jr. is definitely the most popular builder in the bunch: (Not on this forum) He's an all around nice guy, he has done a tremendous amount of charity work and spreads good will. He's rarely negative and I think that's why he will continue to win these build-offs. I think he also understands that this is a show and that show bikes win show competitions. I would really be surprised if Paul Junior Designs doesn't get their own TV show for 2013. How else is he going to sell those hideous t-shirts and kid's bicycles!

Did you watch the show? Jesse James rode his bike on stage and it was running!

Haha! You're right! I guess it does run. I hadn't seen any footage from the shop or on the road like the other builders. I forgot that he wheeled it out on stage.

Host was terrible, two of the bikes were interesting and one was okay. A bike show is better than no bike show in general. They should open it up to outside competition to crown a real champion.
