Dealer says Harley Shipped Spring Bikes Early

I just got back from my dealer and the owner told me that Harley contacted all dealers anticipating the strike months ago. He said he received a letter saying they would ship the entire allotment of tour bikes and softailsearly andwon't be charged byHarley for theextra floor space throughout the winter. He said hehad received his full inventory already and the strike would not be a factor.

It'll (the strike)give the dealersa reason to stop selling below MSRP till spring. I would imagine the deals you would have gotten until March just ended. Kinda glad I got mine in Oct.
