I mounted Kuryakyn driving lights to the engine guard. Big differance when driving at night. I also put the Harley high performance bulb in. The bulb is brighter and gives off a blue tint. I figure the more lights the better
I've had them on my touring bike for years. My Brother, BIL, and two friends also run them on their bikes. We all agree that they are well worth the money. I run mine mostly for the safety aspect. I'm convinced that cagers can see me much better with the moto-lights. It has been my experience that not one left turning vehicle has cut across my path since running the moto-lights (however it still happens on my Dyna with only the stock headlight).
Ever notice Police Motor Cop bikes? Ever notice how they "stand out" from a far distance? Take notice, the lower fork running lights they use, MotoLights, give them light separation from the headlight.
I read about a study somewhere that by adding light that gives "separation" from the headlight, oncoming traffic can not only "see you better" but also aids them in judging distance and speed. This "should" greatly reduce the risk of the dreaded and deadly "left turn" driver from misjudging your rate of speed as well as helping them to even just SEE you.
