Torx bolts.

Maybe the OP had to drill one out....that can cause a "rant".

I too think HD are easier than metrics to wrench on.

I use the level divider from a 30 pack of beer much the same way, gives me an excuse to by more beer (as if I needed one).

That could work. It would take me 6 months to finish a 30 pack which would probably be right in line with my service intervals, lol.
