Default Throttle by wire??

Any one ever solder there tbw.? Instead of using the connectors?

I replied in your other thread. It usually works but I know of folks having issues. If it were me, I would just buy the screaming eagle extended TBW sensor. Then you won't have to worry about having to pull it if it doesn't work. Those Yaffee bars are a huge PITA. You only want to do them once if possible...Check all of your connections before you pull your wires and then check them again...

previous poster is correct in saying those Yaffe bars are a PITA!! Having said that, I just put a set on my buddys 2012 street glide and I ended up just cutting the wires (all six) about three inches from the twist grip sensor and ran all new wires (18) in the right tube assembly. I connected them into the upper wires with red heat shrink butt connectors I got from Orileys auto parts. I used them because I kept pulling the soldered wire extenders apart when pulling wiring through the tubes. (did I mention Yaffe bars are a PITA) When everything was all put back together, fired right up and not one single problem with anything. It worked for me, thats my 2cents.
