"Motorcyclists over the age of 60 are three times more likely to be hospitalised after a crash than younger bikers"

This is common sense. The younger body can take the abuse from a crash much better than an older body. Nothing to see here unless you can't think for yourself.

I will put money on it that the younger motorcyclist is three times more likely to crash than the older, more experienced motorcyclist.

These are my thoughts as well.My hot rods are proof that just because there is a little snow on the roof it certainly does not mean the fire is out in the furnace.
65 this year, 51 yrs in the saddle, still feel like a kid hanging on to those bars.

If you read all the article it says its far more of a problem in the States than in the UK.

honestbob--do you think we are 4 times less likely to catch a STD because them young whippers snappers are getting 4 times more "strange" than we are? there is usually a cause and effect that explains most situations.

Hmm, That could be the case. I guess I dated myself calling it V.D. instead of S.T.D. huh?
