Achopper is a bike that handles like crap. A bike that takes all of your focus while riding it.Corners like a toilet and does panic stops like a Winnebago motor home. The payoff for all of this is people look at you and say WOW! a Chopper.........or ,What a Idiot!

Pre-zackly! A custom and a chop are different. Chopper = chopping. And that means starting from one thing, and ending up with something else. For me it also means the frame must be modified, though for some simply removing (chopping) off un-needed stuff qualifies.
Crusher, what make of girder is on that 4-banger? I used to run a 10 over Fury dual shock girder on my Sporty. Surely wish they still made 'em!
The "original" chopper was any motorcycle (almost all of em were HDs) that was altered or stripped down from their stock configuration.....then that term grew into much more radically customized ride.
