Just curious if any of you have used this set-up and if you like the way it looks. I thought it would be pretty cool to come up with some kinda design to paint/engrave on the pulleys so it looks cool while it's spinning.

I voted for the aluminum cover as it'd be just a matter of time and it'd look ugly inside with residue.

I got enough to keep clean already!

I build airplanes for a living so making shiny clean brand new plexi covers would be no problem.Or aluminum, or stainless, or titanium or.......

P.S. I was also thinking a smoked or colored plexi cover might be cool.

No offense, but I don't like that at all. Each his own.

That's cool, I'm asking for opinion's. There are 3 general options when it comes to your cams....stock drive chain....belt drive.....gear drive

P.S. turn on your sound when you click the link above

After reading and listening more, the belt drive replaces one chain drive part of the cam drive system. You still need to convert the cams themselves to gear drive and they have a new set of helical gears. Apparently, running the belt drive quiets the cam drive set-up and takes away the possibility of noise from the outer gears because of minor crank pin variations. The inner gears, if you use their stuff, are on a "perfect" support plate using helical gears so they will be quiet and very accurate. It sounds pretty good, but I would like to hear from people who have used them.

Not really into the billet look myself, but it does look clean. Go for it!

Plexi is cool, especially smoked.
