Just curious?
Did he lock the rear break? If so might be another reason to go for Harley ABS system.

I'm not an expert but have watched this many times and always feel bad for that bike. (and for the rider). I believe he was going too fast and his line of travel ending up being straight when the roads curves. He tried to lean it to the side as you can hear his floor boards scrape, and like I said he goes straight because of the speed.

Does not look like he got hot on the rear brake....looks like he took the corner to hot for his particular lean angle limits. I think if he was on the rear brake too much, you would have seen the rear end swing more to the outside line before the sparks flew.

Don't need ABS, just need some common sense.

He took the curve too fast and when he laid the bike (probably lowered) over too much the frame and bags made contact with the road and levered the bike up. From what I see, ABS wouldn't have helped him imo. Riding his own ride and not trying to keep up with the crotch rocket would have.

He should have watched this training film before he went riding.
Although it's geared toward sport bike riding I'm sure it would have helped him.

This guy knew neither.
Had nothing to do with brakes.
Going into the corner too fast, scraped, which straightened him up and he lost it.
Speed was the main issue.
