I don't know wether Harley shades are made with toughened plastic, but for sure the cheap ones won't be, not to good if you get a stone hit them on the highway at 70mph.

I just had refractive lens exchange surgery, so my eyes are now more valuable (although they are priceless anyway). Do yourself a favor and get some decent impact resistant and UV protective glasses. If you search Ebay you can find the ESS Crossbow with 2 lens for about $30 shipped to your door; these are Mil Spec impact rated, UV protected and are a good wrap-around design for motorcycle use. I also have Maui Jims, Oakleys and some cheaper ones but the ESS are best for the bike IMO. If a rock, stone or hard bug smacks a set of cheapo glasses your eyes are FUBAR.
