I've got a nylon/spandex tube thing that came with my Caberg helmet a few years back. Use it in the summer to cover from up under my helmet, over my ears & nose, and down over my neck.

Good thread. I am REALLY fair and burn after about 10 minutes in the sun. I also have a NASTY case of hay fever, and think these might help with that, too. I think I'm gonna get one of those buff from Orvis. I may check some local fishing shops over here as well - lotsa those in Japan, but since Asian people don't burn real easy, they may not sell them here...

I guide on the rivers in Montana in the summer and I need to protect my face as you mentioned. Buy a Buff. They are extremely lightweight, comfortable and will protect you from UV rays.
