The main reason I started wearing a FF helmet year round is to keep the sun off my face. I wear a mesh jacket and gloves to keep the sun off my arms and hands.
I am looking for something VERY specific so please do not get off the topic with substitutions.
I am looking for something to wear that will cover my face AND neck for BOTH UVA and UVB 100% protection.
NOT ointment type sunblock.
NOT the hard mask made of neoprene or such.
It MUST be a soft material that covers face & neck that is 100% UVA and UVB.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!!

I am a melanoma survivor (which I suspect you may be also) and am always looking for sun protection products. One of the best sites is Coolibar. How about a gaiter like this that can be pulled up as high as you want? http://www.coolibar.com/product/Sun-...299/155711.uts UPF 50 is the highest rating that you can get on a fabric.
The Buff, I have 2. UV protection does not seem that high.
Full face helmet, got one but LIKE 1/2 helmet.
The 2 things I like the most is the Coolibar AND the Cabelas item that is a tube and covers ur face and neck.
What is GREAT is that BOTH of those Coolibar and Cabelas are upfront with UPF rating and BOTH saying 95% protection.
I will dbl check to make sure it is 95% for BOTH UVA and UVB.
You guys are GREAT!!!!
MANY thanks. It is so nice to get right to the bottom and gd info like u guys did above opposed to so many times in the past wise guys make unwarranted (supposed to be funny I guess) distracting comments.

You're welcome, Man! My experience on the forum is that, while you might get a few comedians (which I often enjoy, btw) you will most often also get a useful answer to your question. Glad I could help this time.
BTW, you won't find better than the UPF 50+ rating that the Coolibar stuff has. After living like a mushroom for the first year after my melanoma diagnosis, I decided that I had to die of something, and resumed my normal life with all reasonable precautions. I have since taken trips to the Caribbean and relied on the UPF 50 in the tropical sun and it has served me without fail.
Some good info here, will look into those items suggested. Out here in AZ, I usually use the sport spray-on sunscreen when I am out. Easy to spray it on all the exposed skin and dries real quick once I get moving. I can carry the can in the saddlebag and spray it on again every hour or so when I stop to take a break.

I tried the spray and found:
1) Did not like breathing the over spray into my lungs
2) Expensive
3) Re-applying so often was a PIA
1 purchase of the Coolibar Sun Gaiter and that was that.
