Default my friends wife got a settlement.
My friend who was killed last year while riding to work,his wife got a settlement from the trucking company who hit him....the driver turned into his path....and he was pinned under the front of the truck....the driver didn't have the right eyewear that he was suppose to be wearing,his log book was all wrong,and one tire was flat on the 3rd axle.....just a host of things were wrong with the truck and him....but they settled out of court for 3.5 million....it will never bring my friend back,but I'm glad his wife and kids will be taken care of.Ride safe guys.
