have a chance to pick up a mid 70's AMF 125 "sprint" ,needs some work and missing a few parts,does not run at the moment but turns over.what woyuld be a decent price to get it for...thanks for the help....
It depends which parts are missing. Some are hard to find, some are the same as big twin parts. Had one for about 10 years...it was almost perfect condition. Not bad maintenance-wise, but it wasn't like you could leave town with it. It only did 65 mph tops. Got it for $600. played with it for 10 years, sold it for $1600. Once, I even had a retired HD factory worker accuse me of fraudulently badging it as a Harley, because "he worked there for 30 years, and they never made those".
Not running, missing parts...worth about $200 max. Not collectible enough to throw too much time or money into it.
