All three of my bikes have them. PC Racing. Wash them in soap and water, dry with the air compressor. It is nice to be able to see what is in your filter. Many on here will start the 5 micron BS but will not understand the testing and the way each are measured.

For the price of about 10-HD filters...it's paid so if you plan on sticking w/HD & don't mind the routine maint = not so bad. Actually, it's $40 cheaper than the $180 custom oil filter cover pictured in the "you might also want" section where they're simply "bling-bling" to the reusable filter's functionality.

I never knew there was such a thing. Thinking about it, it's not a surprise with today's technology.

I am a little to **** to wash a oily filter in soap and water to start. But where I draw the line is when I blow it dry with compressed air stirring up dust around my engine with the filter port open as well as imagine all the flakes of rust and contaminated oily water from my air compressor hitting my filter.Yes I have moisture traps and filters due to using it to paint but it still let spit out junk.Leave me to the top secret world of whats inside the steel canister i cant see on the stock type filters
