I am pretty in Texas that you don't do the riding at the DMV for motorcycle.
All he should have to do to renew is pay the money.
But for anyone getting a new endorsement you have to take the motorcycle safety course then you only have to take the written test.

If someone actually *says* something to you, hit the dumbazz. Other than that, if you're not a ḟḁḡ, quit worrying about what some moron might think about it. I give a bud of mine a ride all the time 'cause my bike is the only vehicle I have and he has no vehicle at all, so I help him get to his PO meetings and the store once in a while, etc.
