OK , been reading this forum for awhile ..
question ??
I need to take my 50 year old son to renew his MC endorsement .
(dummy let It expire)
Now we can ride double to the dps , or take two vehicles.(80 mile round trip)
I chose to ride double , but according to this forum that is "gay"
I just need permission from you posters to ride double and not be scorned/flamed.
He did ride with me when he was 5-6 years old , and it was not a social problem.
Now , I understand times have changed , and I want to be sure it is OK , with you guys.
The only thing that is gay is that you need our perrmission......
True story, A younger friend of mine came over on his bike, I needed a ride to pick up my truck, he offered, Ha. He expressed a concern, the typical BS that this thread is about. Said something about how he hoped no one would see him. At the first light, i made sure the car next to us was looking and I gave him a back hug, thought he would drop the bike, as we went down the road I gave the Queens wave, got an elbow to the ribs, but it was so fun. He will never give another guy a ride again. We ride together and every now and then I blow him a kiss at the light. I am very secure in my manhood. Nothing to prove. 5 brothers, 2 kids, 5 GC. Yeah, I worry someone thinks i'm queer. Sometimes 3 of us guys share the cab in my truck, Hmm.
I rencently helped out at my local Harley dealership when the Ride For The Wall came through. I work for a very veterans centered company, so I was making my way around and talking to people. I noticed one bike that came in that had to guys on it and it made me wonder, but I inquire more and found out the awesome story behind it...
The two guys were brothers, the other (vietnam vet) became blind in the last year and was no longer able to ride. His brother learned and took his brother on this trip, him steering and his brother sitting behind enjoying the experience.
Sure, two guys riding could be gay, if they are gay, and in that case... Who cares?!
To each their own. Honestly, doesn't bother me and who cares what others think.
