I'd REALLY like to have a new CVO Breakout. A red one. And FYI...my birthday is in August.
Chicken I've seen your comments in other threads about the Breakout so I know you must love it, I'm in the same boat, love the bike but someone would have to give me enough to buy one outright so I'm gonna say somewhere in the 30k range and that will never happen.

BTW I am assuming we'll see a new breakout in your garage in the not to distant future...and I want to see pics when it happens.

OK......7 million....still won't sell ?
Ummmmmmm....not for my 65 pan. Owned it since October of 70. Sorry but there isn't a number out there. Bought it from the original owner who was a strawberry farmer in Aromas Ca. Me and that bike have a whole lot of tales and history. You just can't replicate that for any kind of mean green. I am going on 66 and I never want to say or refer to the bike and time that I once had; I want to be able to talk about the times and point to the bike that gave me those good times.
Enough to get a new FXDC and do everything I want to it. I guess $17k would do it. But no-one is going to do that.

Sorry but still would never sell. Some things my friend are not and will never be about the money. Would the money be nice...sure; do I need it...no. I am not one of those persons "driven" by money.

It is an overused term by MoCo but that bike has always been my "freedom machine", my one way ticket out either because of my own choice (walking away from it it all) or the choices of others (i.e. coming home to an empty house and it is the only thing there because you knew something was coming, just weren' sure what or when, and made sure to lock it down before leaving for work that day).

When I came home from my war I swore that nothing could ever be that bad again and that when I rode I would always remember my friends who never got the chance to marry, have children and grow old. Every time I ride that bike it is all still there. Probably covered close to 200K on the 65 and have a lot of stories to tell.

I have owned several other pans and shovels through the years and, yes, the others have had a price because I no longer own them. Currently have three other HDs as well. Th only other one of the three that will not be sold is my 49EL that I am still working on after almost 14 years to get to stcok condition...it will go to my niece.

Sorry for the long diatribe but it is the only way that I can think to explain why some things that one owns will never be for sale (at least in my case).

I just discovered from another thread that my EVO is a "vintage" bike, so the price goes up. $50,000. $51,493 if they pay through paypal and don't gift the payment.

I'd use the money to go buy another EVO.
